Bread and Wine at Bountiful is Jesus’s giving of bread and wine to his disciples and the multitude. Jesus commanded his disciples to bring “some bread and wine” and told the multitude to sit upon the earth (3 Nephi 18:1).
Jesus “took of the bread and brake and blessed it,” gave it to the disciples, and commanded them to give it to the multitude (3 Nephi 18:2-4). He said they should do this “in remembrance of my body” (3 Nephi 18:7).
Jesus commanded the disciples to drink wine from the cup and to give it to the multitude, who also drank (3 Nephi 18:8-10). On another occasion, Jesus gave bread and wine when none had been brought by either the disciples or the multitude (3 Nephi 20:3-7).
