Lambs

Lambs are young sheep. “The lambs feed after their manner,” and “the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat” (2 Nephi 15:17). “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,” while the leopard, kid, calf, young lion, and fatling are together, and “a little child shall lead them” (2 Nephi 21:6).

Giddianhi’s armies came to battle with “a lamb-skin about their loins” and were “dyed in blood” (3 Nephi 4:7). Those cast into a den of wild beasts “did play with the beasts as a child with a suckling lamb, and received no harm” (3 Nephi 28:22). Those cast into dens of wild beasts played with them “even as a child with a lamb” and came forth “receiving no harm” (4 Nephi 1:33).
