Lehi’s Altar is the altar Lehi built after his family traveled into the wilderness. He “built an altar of stones,” then “made an offering unto the Lord” and gave thanks to God (1 Nephi 2:7).
When Lehi’s sons returned with the brass plates, Lehi and Sariah “did rejoice exceedingly” and offered “sacrifice and burnt offerings unto the Lord” (1 Nephi 5:9). After the sons returned with Ishmael’s household, the family again “did offer sacrifice and burnt offerings unto him” at the tent of Lehi (1 Nephi 7:22).
