Hunting and Foraging are obtaining food in wilderness settings, including hunting beasts and living on meat. Enos said, “I went to hunt beasts in the forests” (Enos 1:3).
Nephi said his party traveled in the wilderness, where “we did live upon raw meat in the wilderness”. Their women bore children in the wilderness and “did give plenty of suck for their children” (1 Nephi 17:1-2).
