Lehites Raw Meat is the raw meat eaten by Lehi’s company during their wilderness journey. Nephi said that “while we did live upon raw meat in the wilderness,” the Lord’s blessings were great upon them (1 Nephi 17:2).
Nephi reported that their women “did give plenty of suck for their children” and “were strong, yea, even like unto the men” while the company lived on raw meat. He added that they “began to bear their journeyings without murmurings” (1 Nephi 17:2).
