Raw Meat is uncooked flesh used as food. Nephi said that his family “did live upon raw meat in the wilderness” during their journey (1 Nephi 17:2).
Nephi said that their women “did give plenty of suck for their children” while the family lived upon raw meat (1 Nephi 17:2). Enos said that many Lamanites “did eat nothing save it was raw meat” (Enos 1:20).
