Nephite Defensive Chariots are chariots taken by the Nephites when they gathered to defend themselves against their enemies. After Lachoneus’s proclamation went throughout the land, the people took “their horses, and their chariots” as they went to the appointed gathering place (3 Nephi 3:22).
The people also took cattle, flocks, herds, grain, and other substance, and they “did march forth by thousands and by tens of thousands” until all had gathered (3 Nephi 3:22).
